Our History

The Höfinger family has been producing ice cream in Salzburg since 1933. Quality has always been in the our focus, as well as customer orientation. In 1989 Thomas Höfinger, in the 3rd generation, took over the family business and made it a successful company. Since 2014 we’ve been operating under the name EISWERK Produktions & Vertriebs GmbH. The core business is the production and distribution for retail customers and gastronomy.

The Eiswerk Manufactory

In 2005, Höfinger Eis became the EISWERK Manufactory. Besides ice cream we’re producing beverages for the cold season. All our raw materials come from organic farming. Furthermore our ice cream is produced mainly from local products (milk, fruits).

Höfinger’s

The ice cream brand "Höfinger’s" was reinvented in 2014 as a pure organic ice cream brand together with a retro cup design, combining the tradition of 1933 with the quality standards and taste of today.
